According to multiple reports, the Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Chase Daniel have agreed on a three-year contract.

Daniel spent the last three seasons backing up Alex Smith in Kansas City, where new Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson was the offensive coordinator.
Daniel's addition likely means Mark Sanchez won't return to play behind Sam Bradford. The Eagles signed Bradford to a two-year deal last week.
The 29-year-old Daniel played his first three seasons with New Orleans and last three for the Chiefs. He is 1-1 in two career starts.
