KANSAS CITY, Mo- Something is Brewing at the "K". Friday afternoon, photojournalist Darrius Smith and I got some hitting tips from Royals broadcaster Rex Hudler.
The Royals are giving season ticket holders the shot to hit a home run and get their season tickets for free. If you can't take the hacks yourself, you can get a pinch hitter but there are some serious rules you have to follow.
"It can't be Mark Teahen that used to play for the Royals and he's your third cousin or someone who played a significant amount of college baseball." said Royals Vice President of Publicity Toby Cook. "We are looking for regular fans to get out here and give this a shot."
