Badges and baseball could be one of the best community relations events in the city. It's a simple, yet effective concept.
Teaming up the Kansas City Police Department with the I Am King Foundation. The officers help run a baseball clinic, teaching the kids the fundamentals of the game. When it's over, the young players and their parents are taught the importance of firearms safety.

It's a great concept for several reasons, including giving law enforcement a chance to forge quality relationships with the kids of Kansas City.
