KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Can’t wait for the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs’ season to start? Neither can we.

Even though this year's preseason games were canceled, 41 Action News — your home of the Chiefs — remains committed to helping Kansas City get hyped for the 2020 season with Classic Chiefs replays each of the next three Fridays.

If you’re as eager to Run It Back as we are, join us at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, for a replay of the Chiefs’ AFC Divisional Playoff win against Indianapolis from the 2018 season.

Relive Kansas City’s 31-13 dismantling of the Colts in Patrick Mahomes’ postseason debut and what turned out to be Andrew Luck’s final NFL game.

You also won’t want to miss a pair of AFC trouncings over the Broncos and Raiders.

Catch a replay of the Chiefs’ 21-13 victory in Week 14 against the then-Oakland Raiders, a win that pulled Kansas City even in the AFC West standings and propelled them to their first division crown in six seasons — not to mention the first of four in a row.

That game, which helped sink Derek Carr’s MVP hopes, will air at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28.

We’ll wrap up the Classic Chiefs with a gift for Denver-haters, a replay of Kansas City’s 33-10 demolition of the Broncos on Christmas Day in Week 16 of the 2016 season.

The game, which will air at 7 p.m. on Sept. 4, features the longest run of Tyreek Hill’s NFL career and the longest reception of Travis Kelce’s career.

Did you hear Kelce recently signed an extension with the Chiefs and is a really good dude?

The Chiefs open the regular season Sept. 10 against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium for the NFL Kickoff Game.

Kansas City announced Monday that fans will be allowed at games, but Arrowhead Stadium will be capped at 22% capacity — or no more than 17,500 fans.
