KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The ‘Run it Back’ tour hits the road for the first time in 2020 on Sunday, as the Kansas City Chiefs travel west to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers.

A divisional matchup presents a plethora of challenges for Andy Reid’s crew, among them, depth at the cornerback position. The team confirmed Friday corner Charvarius Ward will miss Week 2 with a hand injury.

Ward’s hand injury and the ongoing suspension to starter Bashaud Breeland, means rookie L’Jarius Sneed and second-year defensive back Rashad Fenton will likely earn starting nods.

“Our young guys have an opportunity to play and that, I think it's a great thing,” Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid said.

“Just step up and enjoy the opportunity that they have to be in there and then execute and play good physical football,” he finished.

Despite racking up 362 yards of total offense in Week 1, the Chargers managed only one touchdown in a win against the Bengals.
