WalletHub just sent out a list of the best and worst states to go on a road trip. Oregon topped the list. Connecticut came in dead last. As for Kansas, the state ranked near the bottom of that list.
WalletHub used 21 factors to come up with the rankings including road safety, highway fatalities, gas prices, accommodation affordability and scenery.
The report called Kansas the seventh worst state for road trips. Sure, parts of the state are lackluster, but if you go out in search of Kansas' beauty, you can easily find it.
