KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead after an SUV authorities say was speeding struck a sedan Wednesday in Kansas City, Kansas.
The crash happened at about 6 p.m. near Washington Blvd and 5th Street. Officials say a silver SUV and was speeding while traveling south on Fifth and struck a gold sedan.
The male driver and sole occupant of the sedan was ejected and died at the scene. The two men in the SUV were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
