KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Overnight snow caused problems for Monday morning commuters.
While the snow only visibly accumulated on grass and cars, a combination of the flurries and low temperatures left behind some slick spots on the roads, especially on bridges and overpasses.
Multiple incidents were reported ahead of the morning rush, including several crashes and highway closures.
Crews across the metro were out treating affected icy areas, but still advised drivers to plan extra time to get to work and other destinations.
