...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Platte River at Sharps Station.
* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 31.5 feet, The south approach to the Highway B bridge
over the Little Platte River is under water due to backwater from
the Platte River.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 28.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.5 feet
tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
