After a great Monday, the chance for showers and storms increases and a few of these could be strong to severe, here are four things you need to know about Tuesday's thunderstorm chances.

1. Clouds will begin to increase during the late morning and afternoon hours.
2. Although a majority of the day looks dry, a few showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon ahead of the initial cold front in Northeast Kansas/Northwest Missouri. This is not a wash out however, not everyone will see storms.
3. The main line of storms will move in between 8 p.m. - 2 a.m., these storms will gradually weaken as they move east.
4. Some storms could be strong to severe with strong winds, heavy rain and hail the primary threats.
