Gunfire sends two people to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries

Gunshots wounded a man and a woman Friday night inside a Northland house.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries and the second victim suffered less serious wounds.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. in the 5300 block of North Brighton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.

Police are looking for a motive for the violence.

The suspects drove away from the scene in a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.
