Police in Kansas City, Kansas are investigating the shooting death of a man Sunday.
Officials say a man is dead after he was shot outside Coin Laundry on 48th and Parallel. The victim was getting laundry out of his car when he was approached by three black males, who began shooting, according to a statement from KCK police.
A witness said she heard about 10 gunshots and saw people crying and running from the scene while a man lay face down on the sidewalk.
The victim was identified as Jeffrey Whitmore, 43, of Kansas City, Kansas.
No suspect information has been released.
