Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot outside a residence in KCK.
Authorities were called to a house in the 1800 block of Cleveland Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday following reports of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found a black male in his 50s with an apparent gunshot wound. He was declared deceased at the scene.
There is no suspect description at this time.
This incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, who is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
