Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting that left three people injured at a Kansas City, Missouri convenience store.

One of the victims is in serious condition. The shooting happened at the Fast Stop convenience store near Blue Ridge Cutoff and Sni-a-bar Road.

Police were called to the scene about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. They found a four-door blue car riddled with bullets and at least two windows shattered at the gas station.

Witnesses described hearing an exchange of gunfire while several customers were at the Fast Stop.

People who live nearby are frustrated with the senseless violence.

"My kids are not able to walk freely around here no more because of the shooting everything you know," said Tracy Lovelady. "It's senseless everybody needs to stop shooting people just put your guns down."

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call police or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
