Two people have been charged after shooting at Andrew County deputies following a high-speed chase on Saturday.

Tyler Despain, 22, and Jessica Harbord, 24, have been charged with attempted murder, assault on a law enforcement officer, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, felony resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and several other misdemeanor charges.

The two were taken into custody at the Andrew County Jail following a manhunt.

According to authorities, a deputy tried to pull their car over on County Rd. 401 near Nodaway, Missouri around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning, but the driver took off at a high rate of speed.

Police pursued the car to Holt County, where the driver fired four shots at the deputies.

Harbord's bond has been set at $100,000. Despain is being held without bond.
