From Kitty City to Puppy Place, they are getting ready for the season at Wayside Waifs!
This Saturday, December 9, is the annual Holiday Open House, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and there is a lot going on.
All pet adoptions will be $50 -- a significant savings to help you add a new furry family member.
Santa Paws will be there in the morning for photos.
Shelter tours! Refreshments! Family Fun!
And, oh, did we mention $50 pet adoptions?
Now, a new pet is not something you should just spring on somebody as a gift. Make sure you talk about it. What kind of pet is best for their lifestyle?
And, if you just aren’t in a position to provide a forever home, you can still help.
According to Wayside Waif’s Communications Manager, Casey Waugh, through the month of December, all online donations will be matched up to $200,000 by a generous donor.
There are lots of friendly faces and wagging tales to choose from, including Venus, a Hurricane Dog. She survived the winds and floods of Houston and now needs a good place to call her own.
So, head to the computer to donate, or head to Wayside Waifs on Saturday to visit. In either case, you can make this a very Happy Howl-iday!
