Women are changing the meaning of the phrase, "homemaker."
A local woman is helping to inspire other women to get into the trade industry of construction. Alex Williams a Certified Lead Carpenter with ALH Home Renovations will be the first to tell you about the opportunities for women are endless.
"You can do anything in the construction business and you won't have college debt," said Williams.
Right now only 8.9 percent of women make up the construction industry.
