Police are investigating a residential burglary and rape reported on the city's west side early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 4600 block of Wyoming just before 4:00 a.m.
A suspect allegedly broke into the home and stole items before assaulting the victim.
Police do have a possible suspect in custody.
According to the CrimeReports.com website, there were 18 incidents in the neighborhood surrounding the victim's home. The crimes ranged from thefts to breaking and entering.
The early stages of an investigation are underway.
