A man is listed in serious condition after being hit by a truck near W. 129th Street on Metcalf Avenue Thursday.
Police say the 80-year-old man was northbound on Metcalf Avenue when he swerved into oncoming traffic.
He was taken to an area hospital, where paramedics say he was able to speak. His condition later worsened and he is now listed in serious condition.
Officials said he suffered fractured ribs, fractured hips and several scars. He is expected to live.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene to speak with police.
