Driver dies after crashing into pole in KCMO

Update 3/15 11:45 a.m.: Keith Cooper, 60, of North Kansas City, has died from injuries after crashing into a pole Wednesday.

One person is dead after a car crash in Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday morning.

Police say the driver crashed into a pole on Truman Road and Jackson Avenue just before 4 a.m..

The crash has temporarily shut down Truman Road from Jackson to Spruce.

It's unclear what caused the crash or if there were any other injuries. The driver has not yet been identified.
