A man was shot and killed in a road rage altercation on Friday night near I-29 and 152 Highway.

Thirty-five-year-old Clinton Alsobrook and Bobby T. Crumpton, 21, were driving northbound on I-29 when they got into an altercation with one another. Police found Alsobrook dead in his car along the exit ramp onto eastbound 152 Highway Friday night after Crumpton, the shooter, called 911 from a nearby gas station.

41 Action News spoke with Alsobrook’s widow, Samantha Alsobrook. She says the two have been married for 13 years and have four children together, two boys and two girls. The family lives in San Antonio, Texas. Samantha says Alsobrook took a job in Kansas City to support their family.

“I'm not mad, I'm sad. I'm sad for everybody," Samantha said.

Police called her Saturday morning to tell her the news.

"They told me that my husband had been killed the night before,” she said.

Samantha says she is heartbroken, but also feels bad for the suspect’s family.

"I'm pretty sure that he has a family whether it's children, wife or mom or dad or sisters or brothers whatever,” she said. "I know they are hurting just as bad as we are."’

Crumpton has been charged with murder in the second degree.
