KCFD works to put out fire at recycling plant

Firefighters say something in a compactor is smoldering and they will need a special machine to get inside and put out the fire.

Firefighters are working to put out a fire at a recycling plant in Kansas City, Missouri.

At least one pumper truck was called to Langley Recycling Inc. on the report of a fire.

Firefighters on scene said there were metal bails smoldering inside a compactor. They need a machine to get inside the compactor to put out the fire.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
