Missing five year old Grandview girl found safe

UPDATE: November 4, 2017, 10:50 a.m.:  The Grandview Police Department says after an extensive investigation and search, Dezmariah Dream Freeman was located safe at a friends house in South Kansas City.

GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Police are searching for a five-year-old girl missing from an apartment in Grandview since Friday night.

Dezmariah Dream Freeman, who goes by Dream, was last seen at the Candlelite Apartment Complex in the 6500 block of East 125th Street.

She was discovered missing between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, by her father who had been asleep. There were not signs of break-in or abduction.

Dream is a five year old, black female, three feet-six inches tall, and weighs forty pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and black boots.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call police.
