KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police have caught the suspect they believe shot at the QuikTrip near 103rd and Wornall overnight.

He's also accused of shooting at at least two other buildings in the area.

Police responded to the gas station around 2 a.m. and found at least one bullet had made it into the store.

Convenience store employees were inside when the first shot went off. One bullet went through the window near the cash registers. Fortunately, clerks were stocking shelves and not standing near the registers at the time of the gunfire.

There were no reported injuries in the incident.

Crews replaced two window panes and a glass door on the front of the gas station.

KCPD had not yet arrested anyone or released information about a suspect as of early Wednesday morning.

There are security cameras surrounding the convenience store, but those videos were not immediately available to 41 Action News.

The QuikTrip has since reopened to customers.
