KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department responded to a house fire at the 8300 block of Highland Avenue Wednesday.
The fire started in a detached garage and did minor damage to the house.
Firefighters rescued two dogs in the fire.
No injuries were reported.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
