KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Officials said the water near Blue River and 40 Highway has crested and water is beginning to recede.

Bannister and Lydia; 99th and Holmes; and 139th and Holmes have reopened.

Officials ordered the evacuation of Heart Mobile Village residents as a precaution due to rising waters from the Blue River Tuesday.

The park is located near 40 Highway and Manchester. Officials went door-to-door notifying residents. KCATA buses were sent to the park to help residents without transportation.
