One person is dead and two are injured after a crash on I-70 near Blue Ridge Boulevard Saturday morning.
Witnesses told officials that the driver of a green Honda appeared to attempt to change lanes and almost collided with another vehicle. The Honda then "jerked" back into its lane and over-corrected into the lane on the other side, striking a red Ford.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda's passengers, a 14 and 15-year-old, were transported to a hospital for treatment. Both of their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
All traffic on Eastbound I-70 and part of Westbound I-70 near Stadium Drive was stopped Saturday morning while officials cleared the vehicles. Traffic was back up by about noon Saturday.
