KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person died Thursday evening in a shooting near Bannister and Noland in south Kansas City, police confirmed in a release.
The call came in from the 9700 block of Noland Road, just south of Bannister Road.
Officers took one suspect into custody at the scene.
Police did not immediately identify the victim.
