KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department says one person suffered minor smoke inhalation in a fire overnight.
Crews were called around 3 a.m. Thursday to a home near East 105th Street and Skiles Avenue.
Firefighters say the fire started in the garage and spread to the home.
One cat also died in the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
