UPDATE: Antwanette 'Michelle' Delagarza, a Liberty woman who was reported missing in February, was found dead in her car in rural Daviess County, Missouri.

No foul play is suspected. The case is under investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department as an apparent suicide, according to the City of Liberty.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Overland Park Police Department is asking for help to find Antwanette Delagarza.

She is 5’8” tall, weighs 155 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Delagarza’s mother, Mary, said her daughter is better known as “Michelle.”

She was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 21 around 10 a.m. in Liberty, Missouri by her mother.

Mary has no idea where her daughter is.

“It's been terrible like a never-ending nightmare,” she said.

Police said Delagarza drives a 2016 red Volkswagen Jetta. Surveillance video shows her parked outside of work last Tuesday, but she never went in.

"She hasn't contacted anybody no one has heard from her in the last week,” Mary said. “That's not like Michelle at all.”

Anyone with information on Delagarza’s whereabouts is asked to call the Overland Park Police Department at 913-895-6300 or your local law enforcement agency.
