A pedestrian was struck and killed at 73rd & Mo.1 Highway (N. Prospect) just before 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
Gladstone police say a pedestrian was in the roadway and was hit just north of Wal Mart.
The pedestrian, and male in his mid 20's died at the scene.
Mo.1 was closed from 73rd Terrace to 80th Street until just before 6:00 a.m.
Police have a person in custody, and are questioning them about the crash, and an investigation is underway.
No other details have been released.
