Kansas City police are busy investigating four different east side shootings that happened overnight, one of which resulted in a man's death.

Officers were called to Independence Avenue and South Benton at 10:30 p.m. Saturday night after one man was found dead with gunshot wounds. It's unsure if he was killed or if it was self-inflicted. No other details have been released and an investigation is underway.

Then about 11:15 p.m. police received multiple calls about shots being fired at Linwood and Indiana. One person was grazed by a bullet, but no other injuries were reported. No suspect information has been released.

Police were then called to the 1700 block of Woodland Avenue about about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Officers discovered a man shot in the leg with minor injuries. A short time later another man showed up at an area hospital with gunshot wounds. He was shot in the chest and neck, and suffered life-threatening injuries. No suspect information has been released.

Finally at 3:30 a.m. a shooting victim showed up at Research Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man told police he was shot at 59th & College.  Again, no suspect information has been given.

Anyone with information on any of the shootings is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 816-474-TIPS.
