UPDATE 10:30 A.M 6/25/2017: KCP&L says there was a circuit issue on a transmission line. The repairs were made at substations, just over an hour after crews got on scene.
Now there are a couple outages in Johnson County. About 68 customers are out in Prairie Village, near 76th & Mission Road, and 73 customers are reported out in Lenexa near 80th & Pflumm.
Just after 7:30 a.m. several large outages were reported in Clay County. Claycomo, Pleasant Valley, Gashland and other areas were hit.
Several large areas affecting more than three thousand customers each hit various communities.
KCP&L reported at 8:30 a.m. that crews are on scene and working to determine the cause of the outage.
