Police officers found two men dead Thursday evening in an east Kansas City house.
Officers were sent to a house in the 3900 block of Chestnut around 5:30 p.m. on a medical call. The nature of the medical emergency was not known when officers were sent to to the house.
Officers found two men inside the residence, and KCFD personnel declared both victims deceased at the scene.
At first police called the deaths suspicious, but now the incident is being investigated as a double homicide.
