A woman is in critical condition after jumping from a third-story apartment building in Kansas City, Missouri.
Officers were called to the Newport Apartments at 36th and Baltimore just before 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to police, a young woman in her 20s jumped off a balcony on the third floor of the apartment building. It is unclear if it was accidental or an attempted suicide.
The woman has been taken to the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
