UPDATE: KCK police identify shooting victims

Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating after two people were found dead Tuesday. 

KCK police said in a news release they responded on a medical call to the 1800 block of North 76th Street Tuesday morning.

Police said officers located two people, a man and a woman, dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment at the Legend Oaks apartments. KCK police later identified the victims as Leslie Jacobson and Micky Burke, who were both residents Kan.

KCK police said the identities of the victims will not be released pending positive identification and family notifications. 

The incident remains under investigation. KCK police encourage anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
