The NFL has become a platform for protest over the last few weeks.
With several patriotic demonstrations throughout the league, the Kansas City Chiefs did something different.
The team decided to stand together, arms linked and unified.
Second year cornerback Marcus Peters raised a clinched fist in the air.
Peters says he felt the need to do so to raise awareness of what's going on in black communities all over the country.
Head coach Andy Reid supports Peters' stand, commending him for what he's done to uplift so many people.
