By the time the Chiefs hit the gridiron, some of these fans will have been at Arrowhead for more than 14 hours.
"I woke up about 3:00 or 3:15 [this morning], showered, the truck was already loaded from the night prior, got up, stop at Hy-Vee, get some ice, food, whatever, and then out here," said Robert Matlock of Raytown, Missouri.

In fact, the line was more than 60 cars deep when the gates to the parking lot opened.
"I'm already blown away just by the ride over here in the back of the ambulance was pretty exciting," said Mallory Henricks, who drove in from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

And yes, you read that right - she rode to Arrowhead with a group of others in the back of an ambulance turned party bus. Melanie Ambrose was there with her.
"We have everything," said Ambrose. "We have TVs, radios, food, drinks, corn hole, a few beverages."
The ambulance turned party bus was her husband Matt's idea.

"We have burnt end chili that we are gonna be doing," he said. "We have different games set up. We will probably have somewhere around 25 or 30 people out here joining us today."
And for good reason. This is one of the most important Chiefs games of this season.
"We got Macklin back," said Matt. "Our defense is firing on all cylinders. As long as our team continues to play the way they have been, we will be good."

Because these fans say, the only thing Oakland fans will raid is the tissue box when their team loses Thursday's game.
"Don't never count the Chiefs out," said Matlock. "Not until the last, final gun."
