Several counties in Kansas and Missouri will hold elections on Tuesday.

Some of these counties will choose city council members, school board members, aldermen and vote on taxes. One of the biggest items on the ballot in the Kansas City area is the renewal of the earnings tax.

Most of the elections on Tuesday will be in Missouri, with a few races in Kansas. 

Polls will open at 6 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. in Missouri. Polls will open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. in Kansas.
