Several counties in Kansas and Missouri will hold elections on Tuesday.
Some of these counties will choose city council members, school board members, aldermen and vote on taxes. One of the biggest items on the ballot in the Kansas City area is the renewal of the earnings tax.

Most of the elections on Tuesday will be in Missouri, with a few races in Kansas.
Polls will open at 6 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. in Missouri. Polls will open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. in Kansas.

Question 1 -- Establish annual permit fees for food establishments to increase other food establishment service fees. Would be used to pay for health inspections in unincorporated Platte County and cities that have less than 75,000 in population.
