NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) -- Kate Hudson has taken advantage of a break in the filming of her next movie to play tourist at Niagara Falls.
The Oscar-nominated star of such films as "Almost Famous" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is in western New York for the filming of "Marshall." The movie is based on the early career of Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. Hudson plays a wealthy socialite in the film.
Hudson spent Wednesday at Niagara Falls, where she took a trip aboard the Maid of the Mist tour boat and visited the Cave of the Winds. She posted videos on her Snapchat account.
"Marshall" began filming in the Buffalo-Niagara area last month. The film stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role.
