Lenexa Community Days Parade
And for the 4th make sure you check out some of these cool events. Kick it off with Lenexa's Community Days Parade starting at 10am! Head to Old Town Lenexa to enjoy an old-fashioned community parade on Independence Day! The Community Days Parade is one of the longest Fourth of July parades in the Kansas City area, featuring live music, special performances, and much more. Plus it's free to attend!
KC RiverFest
After that, if you're looking for a fantastic fireworks display, head to Berkley Riverfront Park for RiverFest. More live music, plus a flyover from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and the Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair Pop-up will all be a part of the festivities. And of course, finish off your night with fireworks! Tickets are $5, but kids 12 and under enter for free!
Worlds of Fun
And last but not least, Worlds of Fun has something for everyone! After a day of rides and waterslides, stick around for a massive fireworks show at 9:45
