POP Social
And on Friday night, celebrate 816 Day in KC with POP Social at the Power & Light District.POP Social is a pop-up party featuring local flavors in the heart of KC every Friday from 5-9 pm this fall! The first POP Social on 816 Day is with Boulevard Brewing Company to celebrate the launch of the brand new Chill Vibes Sour Ale with Cucumber! There will also be live music,yard games, raffle prizes and more. Stay tuned for many more of these events this fall at P&L.
40th Annual Ethnic Enrichment Festival
Then on Saturday head to Swope Park for the 40th Annual Ethnic Enrichment Festival! The volunteers of the non-profit Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City are bringing to you one of the largest gatherings of multiculturalism - focusing on the traditional cultures found here in our home, Kansas City and its surrounding metro area. Enjoy international food, drinks, stage performances, and family-friendly activities all day Saturday and Sunday. Admission is just $5 at the gate and free for kids 12 and under.
PetsMart Adoption Event
On Sunday, you may want to head to PetSmart off Shawnee Mission Parkway for a special adoption event! Melissa's Menagerie's Second Chances will have plenty of adoptable dogs and cats for you to meet and fall in love with-- meet your furry soulmate Sunday between 2 to 5pm.
