Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson exposes fear of small animals in hilarious video

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Have you ever had to face one of your biggest fears? Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson did last week -- or at least got close.

He posted a video to Instagram of him sitting with his youngest son as they met a few small birds.

“If you know me you know I am scared of animals," the caption read. "Not 300 pound men but small animals. Guess my youngest son is following into Dads footsteps.”

Both of their reactions are priceless.

His followers are loving the video – one saying “Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. DJ this is hilarious you got me in stitches watching this.”

Another user called him out for being afraid of birds, considering just a few years ago he made fun of Chiefs safety Eric Berry for his fear of horses, writing “And you laughed at EB for the horse thing.”

Other users came to his defense, agreeing with Johnson that birds are in fact terrifying animals.

The Chiefs expect Johnson to return to the lineup this season after missing the back portion of last year due to a brutal Achilles injury in December.
