Baked Apple Tart with Streusel:
8" Sweet Pie Crust (sugar dough)
1 Lemon
4 Apples (Granny Smith or Jonathan are my go to)
¼ cup Sugar Granulated
1 tsp All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Cornstarch
½ tsp Cinnamon
Streusel Topping
Method: Peel, core and chop the apples. Squeeze the lemon and mix with the apples. Mix the dry ingredients together and mix with the apples. Mound the apples up in your pie crust and sprinkle with the streusel topping. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Cool before serving. Sift powdered sugar over the top and serve with Andre's, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
Streusel Topping
½ llb Butter softened
2 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup Sugar Granulated
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Preparation: Mix everything together and push through a course sift or colander. Freeze completely before topping the apples.
