Half way through KC Restaurant Week and Char Bar is one of 185 eateries cooking up something special.

GM Erika Wilson says this week brings lots of new faces into the place, eager to try what Chef Jeremy Tawney and his team have created.
According to Erika and Jeremy, this is really the kick-off for area restaurants for the rest of 2016.
The special week gives them a chance to experiment and find new dishes or new twists on old favorites.
At Char Bar, for example, you can try the bone marrow special while your vegetarian friends have their own tasty treats to try.
You have about five more days to experience the culinary creations at bargain prices. $15 for lunch. $33 for dinner.
10% of the profits go to area charities this week so you can leave with a full tummy and a full heart.
