3 steps to finding love

1. Make yourself available: "If you are single and you want to date, then date," Gibson said. He recommends you let your friends know you're willing to go on blind dates. Consider online dating, too. And, don't rule out approaching someone you like to simply ask for their number.

2. Be the best version of yourself. Gibson said grooming and presentation matter. Just don't try to be someone you're not. "Eventually, the true you is going to come out," he said.

3. Be calm. "Some people are too desperate," Gibson said. "The longer you wait (to date) it can seem desperate, which is not a good vibe."
