Super Bowl Snack Recipes: Cynthia Newsome cooks up game-day classic nachos

Nothing says “Super Bowl snack” as well as good, old-fashioned nachos.

41 Action News Anchor Cynthia Newsome shows us her take on the classic game-day dish.

Newsome’s Super Bowl Nachos

Ingredients:

2 lbs ground beef, or ground turkey

1 cup cheddar cheese

1 cup salsa

2 cups vegetable medley salad

Tortilla chips

Slap Ya Mama’ seasoning

Nature’s Seasons seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Sauté ground beef or turkey, seasoning with ‘Slap Ya Mama’ and Nature’s Seasons. Drain excess fluid.
  2. Layer the meat, cheese, salad and salsa on a platter.
  3. Line the perimeter of the platter with preferred tortilla chips.
