Target is expanding its price matching policy starting on Thursday October 1, 2015.
Their policy will now include more than two dozen online competitors like Amazon and Bed, Bath, & Beyond.
Stores that require a membership like Costco will also be included in Target’s Price Matching program for the first time.
Target’s new policy also gives customers 14 days to get a price adjustment, where customers used to only get seven days. Walmart, Best Buy, and Staples all match their online prices with their online competitors.
Business analysts say fewer consumers take advantage of price matching when shopping online because the process is typically more tedious.
Target says customers can check for online price adjustments by calling their customer service for their website.
