KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Blue Valley School District is the latest to drop its mask requirement.
District officials announced the change on Friday and it goes into effect on June 1.
Blue Valley's current plan expires on Friday and due to changes in local health ordinances and CDC guidelines, the plan will not be renewed.
Masks will still be encouraged for unvaccinated people in district buildings.
It is optional for vaccinated people to wear masks.
