COVID-19 outbreak reported at K-State fraternity

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — At least 13 members of a Kansas State University fraternity have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Riley County, Kansas, Health Department announced Tuesday that 13 members of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Health officials say they are working with university and Greek life officials on the outbreak. Members of the fraternity have been instructed to follow guidelines for outbreaks occurring in group living quarters.

The health department said they were monitoring a second outbreak in the county which involved seven staff and school board members in Randolph, Kansas.
